      Driver:           Jeff Davidson
             Birth Place:   Hopewell, PA
          Residence:   Waynesville, OH

Jeff has had an interest in racing practically since birth but was never more than just a
spectator. He did some drag racing with the Penn-Ohio Buick Performance Club in
the late 90’s and early 00’s before joining NASA in 2002. A NASA member in the
Ohio/Indiana (nowGreat Lakes) region, he worked his way up through the HPDE program
all the way to competition racing. In 2005 Jeff started his racing career in a Legends car
and racked up several class wins. Jeff made the switch to Spec Miata  in mid 2006,
looking for more competition. 'Frances', Jeff’s red and black #27, is a 1991 Miata and
had already been serving as a race car for AIM Tuning before Jeff purchased her.

2007 was Jeff’s first year racing full time in the Spec Miata Series. Despite suffering
from almost weekly mechanical issues, “Frances” was on the track at each event,
including the Midwest Enduro Series (Jeff & Brian co-driving) and NASA National
Championships, thanks largely in part to the support from The Winning Formula. At
the final event of the year at Putnam Park, 'Frances' finally had enough and didn’t make
Sunday’s race. Driving a backup loner car (which turned out to be “Floyd”, Brian’s #57),
Jeff ended the season with a 4th place finish at Putnam Park placing him 6th in the
regional championship which included over 40 Spec-Miata drivers.

In addition to driving Jeff has always been an active staff member with NASA.
Anyone attending a NASA event in either the Great Lakes on MidWest regions
is liable to recognize him as “that guy always working grid”. Jeff has worked
just about every volunteer position within NASA - registration, tech, pace car
driver, safety truck, flagger/corner worker, etc. Currently he is the Chief
Grid Marshal for the MidWest region and, after completing his instructor
certification in 2007, an HPDE instructor for the Great Lakes region.
